Trust Is The New Currency
Trust Is the New Currency was sparked by a personal experience that highlighted a significant issue. While seeking investment for Black Buddha Cannabis™, I encountered numerous individuals online who claimed to be investors or advisors, but many turned out to be impostors or scammers.
This led me to question: Who can we truly trust? In response, I founded MeetKith™, a technology platform designed to help individuals and organizations verify worthiness before engaging with others. By combining identity, behavioral indicators, and digital insights, MeetKith™ empowers users to make informed decisions, ensuring they can build genuine connections with confidence.
MeetKith™ is also pioneering a new technology category: Human Trust Decision Intelligence™. In a world shaped by artificial intelligence, fake profiles, digital impersonation, romance scams, fraudulent business opportunities, and manufactured credibility, traditional background checks are no longer enough. Human Trust Decision Intelligence™ is designed to transform fragmented trust evidence into clear, understandable decision support before people invest their time, money, ideas, access, or emotions.
The philosophy behind MeetKith™ is simple: Evidence informs. People decide. Through the process of Verify, Understand, and Decide, MeetKith™ is being developed as a best-in-class human trust platform for a future in which trust must be supported by more than appearances, titles, followers, or promises.
The Author: Dr. Roz McCarthy
For more than three decades, I've built businesses, advised leaders, and navigated industries where change is constant and trust is often tested. From healthcare and entrepreneurship to cannabis policy, emerging technology, and AI, my work has centered on one simple belief: lasting success is built on credibility, consistency, and authentic relationships.
As the Founder and CEO of Minorities for Medical Marijuana, Chairwoman of PharmaSickle, founder of Black Buddha Cannabis™, and a strategic advisor to organizations across the country, I've experienced the victories, setbacks, difficult conversations, and hard-earned lessons that shape every entrepreneur's journey.
Trust Is the New Currency is more than a blog it's a reflection of those experiences. My goal is to challenge conventional thinking, explore the intersection of business, leadership, technology, and culture, and encourage readers to ask better questions in a world where information is abundant but trust has become increasingly scarce.
If my writing inspires a new perspective or a meaningful conversation, then we've already begun building something far more valuable than clicks or followers we've begun building trust.
